CSV import and export

Import

1. On Locations, select Import CSV.
2. Download the template if you need the column list.
3. Upload a file or paste rows. Review the preview (ready vs error rows, summary pills).
4. Import ready rows. Rows with errors are skipped.

Round-trip columns: location_id, name, group, street, unit, city, region, postal_code, country, lat, lon, timezone, phone, active.

Existing sites match on location_id. If that column is blank, a unique Name matches instead.

active false deactivates a site. Guests cannot check in there. Deactivated sites do not count toward your plan location cap. Set active to true to reopen.

Creating, deactivating, and reactivating needs Owner or Admin. Location Manager can update assigned sites.

Plan limits still apply. Add capacity on Billing.

Columns you omit stay unchanged on update. An empty cell in a column you include clears that field.

New sites need a timezone, or lat and lon so we can set one.

Export

Export CSV downloads the locations you can manage, including deactivated ones, so you can edit and import again.

Groups

Group names must already exist. Import does not create groups. See Groups.
