Device setup

iPad (preferred)​

  1. Install Bruchim Kiosk from the App Store, or deploy it with your MDM.
  2. Open the app and pair with the code or QR from the pairing dialog.
  3. Keep the iPad awake while charging. Disable auto-lock for lobby use.
  4. Optional: lock the device to the app with MDM Single App Mode (or Guided Access).

Staff settings (iPad app)​

Long-press the top-trailing corner (~1.2s), then enter the workspace admin PIN.

  • Status and Display brightness (useful when MDM hides Control Center)
  • Permissions: Camera status for pairing QR and check-in photos
    • Not asked yet: select Allow camera access (iOS shows its prompt once)
    • Denied or Restricted: select Open iOS Settings, then turn Camera on for Bruchim Kiosk
  • Refresh status / Re-pair this iPad

After a guest or installer taps Don’t Allow, iOS will not ask again. Camera must be turned on in Settings, or the app must be removed and reinstalled.

If the iPad is locked with Single App Mode, Guided Access, or an Intune kiosk profile, Open iOS Settings may not leave the app. An IT admin must unlock or temporarily remove kiosk lock first.

Browser fallback​

  1. Use a modern tablet browser on a dedicated device.
  2. Open the Kiosk home URL from the pairing dialog.
  3. Pair with the code or QR.
  4. Optional: add to Home Screen for a fuller-screen feel.
  5. Keep the tablet awake while charging. Disable auto-lock for lobby use.

On iPad Safari, Guided Access helps lock to the kiosk.

Device panel​

In admin Edit kiosk, the Device panel shows public IP, browser, OS, and screen. It does not show a MAC address.
